The excessive industrial residual humidity caused by the evaporation loss of large wet cooling tower leads to moisture content increase of tower outlet air and poor air environment in coal-fired power plant or steel plant. Taking the wet cooling tower system of a coal-fired power plant as an example, analyses the source of moisture content of tower outlet air. According to the basic laws of mass conservation and energy conservation, establishes the basic model for moisture content calculation. Calculates the key components of moisture content of tower outlet air, that is, the industrial residual humidity under different operating conditions. Compares the calculated data with the actual operating data, and the result shows good consistency. The moisture content calculation model of wet cooling tower system can be used for optimizing the operation of this system of coal-fired power plant and reducing the industrial residual humidity caused by the evaporation of this system to lower the impact on surrounding air quality.
